is located in the Conejo Valley, in the northwestern region of the Greater Los Angeles Area. It is bordered by Lake Sherwood to the east, Newbury Park to the west and north, and the Santa Monica Mountains to the south.
A very affluent ranch community controlled by Ventura County, it is a common place for filming many movies and television shows due to its close proximity to Los Angeles, its country atmosphere, and its little known location.  It was home to President Charles Logan's estate in seasons 5 and 6 of the series, 24, was the original site for Greg Sumner's ranch on Knot's Landing, and much of the film Seabiscuit was shot in the secluded countryside of Hidden Valley.
