Real estate professional Janet Schmidt has a widely varied background,
but has ultimately chosen to represent clients in the charming town of
Fillmore. A lifetime California resident, Janet has lived in various
communities throughout Ventura County, Agoura and Calabasas, so she is
very familiar with these areas when working with her buyers and sellers.
Janet initially chose a career as a health care practitioner. She spent
30 years in the medical field, specializing in physical therapy and
massage. She is also licensed as an Aesthetician and Massage Therapist.
A natural transition for Janet was to enter the field of equestrian
care, and she is now certified to tend to a horse’s sprains, muscle
injuries, etc. It provided a wonderful combination of all of her
talents as a health care professional plus her love for horses. As a
real estate agent, Janet enthusiastically specializes in ranch land,
farmland, and equestrian properties. She also recognized the benefit of
becoming designated as a Notary Public and in handling loan documents.
These skills are of great assistance in expediting her clients’
transactions.
Always active and artistic, Janet was a former skateboard champion, an
old-school surfer, and musician. She loves to follow these hobbies in
her spare time. She is also delighted to have put down roots in
