Native Californian Rick Cobos was born here in Ventura County, raised in Ventura, and now resides in the beautiful and serene community of Camarillo.  With a lifetime spent in the same vicinity, Rick is a quintessential area specialist. His family roots date back three generations in the county.  His personal knowledge encompasses communities, neighborhoods, market trends, schools, and a lively social life.

Before becoming a real estate professional, Rick had an extensive management career with UPS, ending with a prestigious position as Account Executive in 1999.  At that time, as Rick explains, "I felt like I was going against my own grain."  He left his secure job to pursue his childhood dream - real estate.  "I can't explain it.  I've always been fascinated with real estate. I wanted to turn what was my passion to an extraordinary career."

After taking some time off for travel and relaxation, Rick became licensed in 2000 and has been with the Camarillo branch of Prudential California Realty ever since.  With his Fine Homes Specialist Designation, he primarily represents clients’ upper-tier properties.  He specializes in Camarillo’s Sterling Hills, Bella Vista, and Spanish Hills estates, as well as providing exceptional service to his countywide client base.

Rick's enthusiasm and knowledge afforded him the opportunity to be appointed Associate Manager for Prudential's Oxnard/Channel Island branch 2001-2002.  He is a consistent award winner, a multiyear member of "The Gibraltar Circle" which represents the top 20 agents companywide, as well as Chairman's Circle and numerous other top producer awards.  He is Quality Service Certified and prides himself in putting his experience and passion for real estate to work for you.
