Real estate professional Brian Nelsen began his business career in 1979 at age
twenty-two, after majoring in Business in college. He founded a unique
company devoted to motorcycle transport and towing service. He invented
an overhead crane system that was installed on a pickup truck. It was
the first of its kind in the industry. He filled a niche in the market
that provided truly damage-free transport for the motorcycle industry.
Three trucks and six employees later, he married his wife Kim, and she
introduced him to her family restaurant.
In 1989, Brian traded hats and the two started
their own Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar in El Segundo, California.
He oversaw the construction, design, legal licensing, staffing,
inventory and everything else involved in successfully operating a
restaurant. Elmer Dills called it the "best Japanese food in town." They
ran the location until 1997, when they sold everything to come to
Ventura County because "...we had found California's best kept secret."
In 1998, Brian and his wife opened a sizeable
restaurant location on the corner of Carmen and Daily in Camarillo. This
time thinking big, they established a 150-seat establishment at the old
"Loves Barbeque" location. He personally insured that all the customer
experiences were made into a memory they would want to repeat.
It was also in 1998 that Brian started his
career in real estate. In his first year, he earned the coveted
"freshman of the year" award and went on to join Prudential's "Leading
Edge Society," by attaining sales in the top 10 percent of the company
nationwide. He has also attained the President's Circle Award, which
places him in the top 5 percent of sales nationally.
These accolades are the product of hard work,
dedication and effectively assessing people's needs. Brian
formally communicates this to his clients and attains them for both
buyers and sellers. Specializing in the Camarillo area, Brian is also a
member of the Conejo Valley Association of Realtors as well.
His goal has always been to serve his clients in
a lifelong relationship. It is by establishing this type of return
business and referrals that make Brian's real estate clientele like his
others - "Family." Brian takes pride in providing "The
difference between ordinary & extraordinary." |
